EU To Imminently Adopt Regulation On Member State HTA Collaboration

After three and a half years of negotiations, the EU is on the point of formalizing its agreement on closer collaboration between member states on health technology assessment.

Negotiators from the European Parliament and Council of the EU reached an agreement on increased cooperation of member states on health technology assessment (HTA) at EU level, just over a week before the end of the Portuguese presidency of the Council.

The presidency will now submit the outcome of the negotiations on the HTA Regulation to the Council’s Permanent Representatives Committee...
