Urologists in California completed the first electromagnetic-guided percutaneous access and mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) procedure with Johnson & Johnson/Ethicon’s Monarch robotic urology platform, the company announced on 7 February.

The US Food and Drug Administration cleared Monarch to access and visualize areas within the kidney in April 2022...
