Manufacturers and authorized representatives operating in Malaysia must not place labels over a device’s lot/batch or serial number, date of manufacturing or date of expiry, says new guidance on how to label products.

Medical devices and IVDs registered in Malaysia must be labeled with a Malaysian medical device registration number within six months of the registration date, says new guidance on how to comply with the country’s labeling requirements.
