Bayer Establishes Workspace For Start-Ups In An Innovative Move

One year after opening its Innovation Center in Mission Bay, Calif., Bayer is opening the space to start-ups to help establish their research labs.

Bayer AG is expanding efforts to reach out to community scientists in the U.S. with the formation of an incubator at its Mission Bay, Calif. innovation center. The initiative, announced Jan. 9, is intended to help start-ups get off the ground while also opening the door for research collaborations between Bayer scientists and researchers from biotech and academia.
