BEIJING – During a week-long visit to Beijing, World Health Organization Director-General Margaret Chan met China’s President Xi Jinping, the country’s health commissioner, and the head of the China FDA, pushing for deepening health care reform policies to prevent a potential non-communicable disease avalanche in the world's most populous county.
