Mind The Gap: UK Gender Pay Report Is Time Bomb For Pharma

Pfizer, Novartis, Norgine and CP Pharmaceuticals have reported their UK gender pay gap data. With early reporters in pharma and other sectors already showing that at most organizations, men have more of the higher-paid jobs, expect an outcry on Apr. 4, when all larger employers must publish by law.

By Mar. 9, gender pay gap data from just four companies in the pharma sector had been published on the UK government’s dedicated Gender Pay Gap reporting site, where larger firms are obliged to publish certain metrics about the way they pay men and women.
