As public attention is focused on when the first vaccines for COVID-19 may reach the market, the industry and regulators are beginning to think about the steps that will need to be taken to expand the use of those vaccines to children. US Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephen Hahn suggested the agency will take a cautious approach to moving the products into the younger population.
