UnitedHealthcare is joining other national payers and pharmacy benefit managers in offering cost sharing relief for insulin in the private insurance market as US lawmakers work to move legislation capping copays at $35 per fill.

United's program will eliminate all cost sharing (copays and deductibles) for certain short- and long-acting insulins in the insurer’s standard fully insured group plans, the company announced 15 July
