Legal Challenge Could Put UK Drug Pricing Deal At Risk

The body representing generics and biosimilars companies in the UK is seeking a seat at the table as negotiations on a new voluntary price scheme get under way.

The decision by the British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA) to challenge the government’s decision to give it only observer status in the talks on a successor to the UK’s voluntary pricing scheme could jeopardize the chances of a deal being reached, says a legal expert.
