Democrats and Republicans in the US Congress are not getting along on most topics these days. But when it comes to criticizing the pharmacy benefit management sector, they see eye-to-eye.

“We don’t agree on a whole lot on this committee,” US House Committee on Oversight and Accountability chair James Comer (R-KY) observed during a 19 September hearing on the pharmacy benefit management sector, “but we agree that PBMs need to be reformed significantly.”
