The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America is pushing the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to allow at least 180 days, and in some cases longer, to prepare for implementation of an upcoming final rule requiring drug companies serving federally funded programs to collect and report data on payments or “transfers of value” to physicians and teaching hospitals.
