Cancer Moonshot Initiative: FDA To Form Virtual Oncology Center of Excellence

NIH and FDA would share $755m under FY 2017 budget proposal, part of $1bn the Obama Administration is targeting to jumpstart Moonshot.

The Obama Administration plans to provide $1bn to jumpstart the Cancer Moonshot initiative, a portion of which would support FDA development of a virtual Oncology Center of Excellence.

The center will "leverage the combined skills of regulatory scientists and reviewers with expertise in drugs, biologics, and devices" and expedite the development of novel combination products, a White House...
