HHS is taking pains to differentiate its approach to testing an alternative reimbursement scheme for Medicare Part B drugs from the demonstration that the Obama Administration tried and failed to implement a couple of years ago.

Plans to experiment with a new International Pricing Index for Part B drugs through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services innovation center are detailed in an advance notice of proposed rulemaking with request for comment released Oct. 25
