Trial units of a long-acting antipsychotic may be provided to hospitals that do not accept Prescription Drug Marketing Act-compliant samples for adult inpatient use under specific conditions without violating federal anti-kickback laws, according to a US Health and Human Services Department Office of Inspector General advisory opinion posted on 16 November.
