The international association of pharmaceutical inspectorates (PIC/S) has updated its GMP guide, aligning it with EU requirements to promote harmonization.

This month saw action on efforts to align certain EU good manufacturing practice (GMP) concepts – both old and new – with international requirements.

These efforts were spearheaded by the global inspectorate body, the Pharmaceutical Inspection Cooperation Scheme (PIC/S), which announced the adaption of the following two European Commission GMP guidelines:
