In a preview of what to expect if the GOP takes control of the House in the fall elections, Republican leaders of the two key committees are seeking a raft of details on how the Biden Administration is planning to set up and launch the Medicare drug price negotiation program established by the Inflation Reduction Act.

The law as enacted earlier this month provides HHS with a lot of flexibility in how the program is designed, which means many of the details will likely be filled in through guidance or regulation. That has led to a good deal of uncertainty about what to expect
