European agency committee drafts herbals guideline

The European Medicines Agency's (EMEA's) Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC) has released three documents for public consultation, including a draft guideline on the assessment of clinical safety and efficacy in Community herbal monographs and entries to the Community list. It covers traditional and well-established herbal medicinal products and is available for comment until 15 August 2006.
