EU Postpones Decision On EMA’s New Home To November

The decision on where the European Medicines Agency should be located after the UK leaves the EU has been postponed to November. The European Council has published details of the bidding process countries must follow if they want to host the EMA.

The European Council has announced that a decision on the new home of the European Medicines Agency will be taken in November, not October as originally planned, in order to allow more time for political discussions on the relocation. The EMA has to move from its current London base because of the UK’s decision to leave the European Union.
