Patent lawyers fear that the launch of Europe’s Unified Patent Court system could be delayed until 2019 or even derailed entirely after Germany’s Constitutional Court published a list of cases that it plans to hear this year, including the legal challenge that was begun last year claiming that the UPC legislation is contrary to German law.
