The World Health Organization officially inaugurated the mRNA technology hub in South Africa this week during a five-day meeting where Canada announced that it would contribute a further CAD15m ($11.14m) in funding for the global mRNA technology transfer program, which aims to foster the establishment of local mRNA manufacturing facilities in lower-income countries.
