U.K. LIMITING ASPIRIN, PARACETAMOL PACK SIZES TO 16 TABLETS in general sale outlets effective September 1998 "in a drive to improve the safety of over-the-counter pain killers," the British Department of Health announced Aug. 26. The September 1998 start date provides a year-long sell-through period for manufacturers. DoH said it consulted with the pharmaceutical industry, professional associations and consumer advocacy groups in developing the reg.
