The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan is taking steps to ensure that drug and medical device companies follow a harmonized approach when it comes to disclosing the expenses they incur every year as part of their product marketing activities involving health care professionals and medical institutes.
Companies are required to make such disclosures to the DRAP and relevant tax authorities under the “Ethical Marketing to Healthcare Professionals (EMHP) Rules,” which came into force in November 2021
