SODIUM SHALE OIL SULFONATE OTC NDA for the treatment of dandruff and blemishes has been submitted to FDA, Gudrun Mays, PhD, Ichthyol-Gesellschaft, Cordes, Hermanni & Co., said at a June 9 HBA Global Expo seminar in New York City. The Hamburg, Germany-based company is working on gaining FDA approval of its new drug application with Upper Saddle River, N.J.-based International Sourcing. SSOS is marketed for acne and dandruff indications in Germany and France.
