‘Insufficient Evidence’ Ibuprofen Worsens COVID-19, Says UK Regulator

Ibuprofen can be safely taken to treat the symptoms of COVID-19, the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has concluded.

A drug safety review conducted by MHRA advisory body the Commission on Human Medicines found that there was “currently insufficient evidence” to establish a link between the use of ibuprofen, or other nonsteroidal
