California Toxic-Free Cosmetics Act Sponsors Sound New Ingredient Concern: Immune System Effects

NGOs may have a new tactic in the COVID-19 era in their campaigning against cosmetic ingredients of concern, with California bill sponsors underscoring potential links between endocrine-disrupting chemicals and immune system effects.

The proposed Toxic-Free Cosmetic Act, AB 2762, passed the California Assembly on 11 June by a 54-0 vote.
