Reckitt Sees Sales Stabilize in 2021 After Strong Second Half

With sales at its Health business down 10% in the first half, Reckitt has delivered a strong second-half performance to post turnover broadly flat for the full year. Nutrition sales were up over the 12 months, but held back by a weaker performance from Reckitt's dietary supplement brands.

Solid performances from its OTC and Intimate Wellness categories in 2021 were not enough to completely offset a weaker showing by its Dettol hygiene brand, with sales broadly flat at Reckitt Benckiser’s Health business for the 12 months.

Health sales slipped back by 0.1% on a like-for-like basis – excluding the impact of currency fluctuations, acquisitions and disposals...
