Dietary Supplements Industry Sets Out Priorities Ahead Of EU Elections

The European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers, EHPM, is hopeful the upcoming EU elections will trigger action on key issues related to dietary supplements, including novel food authorizations and harmonized vitamin levels.

Agreeing harmonized maximum levels for vitamins and minerals in supplements and providing clarity on novel foods should be top of the agenda for EU policymakers over the coming five years, according to the European Federation of Associations of Health Product Manufacturers, EHPM.
