NTP Panel Recognizes Retinyl Palmitate Link To Cancer; Industry Calls Study "Flawed"
A National Toxicology Program panel has concluded that retinyl palmitate – a vitamin A compound used in many sunscreens – and retinoic acid lead to increased incidents of cancer when coupled with UV light.
