IFRA NA Focused On 'Meaningful Transparency' As Marketplace Evolves

The International Fragrance Association North America maintains its commitment to "transparency that's meaningful to consumers" amid ongoing calls for fragrance formulae disclosure, holding that labeling may not be the only solution. Execs from the trade group offered an update on policy initiatives in an interview with "The Rose Sheet."

With marketplace dynamics shifting in favor of fragrance formula transparency, industry is working to promote approaches whereby relevant information is communicated and trade-secret protections are upheld, according to executives from the International Fragrance Association North America.
