NGOs Mum On House Cosmetics Bill, But Likely Not Giving Thanks

Going into the Thanksgiving holiday, neither the Breast Cancer Fund, which heads up the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, nor the Environmental Working Group had a statement to offer on the Cosmetics Safety Modernization Act, newly introduced in the US House. However, the bill is modeled after 2012 legislation that CSC called a "Trojan Horse" that would enable the existing regulatory system to stay largely in place.
