The National Advertising Division reviewed 250 dietary supplements advertising claims from late 2006 through 2015 in an initiative the Council for Responsible Nutrition has supported with nearly $1.5m in grants. The number of reviews the Advertising Self-Regulation Council investigative arm conducts due to the trade group's support is not the full measure of the initiative's value to the supplement industry, NAD and CRN say in marking the program's 10-year anniversary.
