As California and other states pass legislation to ban use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in cosmetics and other products, ASTM International announces it is creating standards for industry and other stakeholders to analyze the presence of PFAS in consumer products.
The international standards developer says the new standards will be developed by a new subcommittee (F15.81) operating under the jurisdiction of its Consumer Products Committee (F15)
