The International Fragrance Association announces that for the sixth year in a row, random testing of 50 fragranced products – from markets across 10 countries – has demonstrated its member companies to be 100% compliant with ingredient safety standards in the group’s Code of Practice. We look to achieve this by evaluating the safety of ingredients … and by setting industry policy based on the outcome of exhaustive independent reviews of the results by a panel of experts.” He concludes: “This sixth cycle of our Compliance Program has once again demonstrated that the Standards are adhered to.” The organization’s Director of Communications Stephen Weller noted last year that despite industry’s high marks, non-governmental organizations have proven hard to impress Also see "IFRA Announces Fifth Year Of 100% Compliance With Code Of Practice" - HBW Insight, 20 June, 2011..
